Brian Andrews uses his more than 30 years of experience in communications, journalism, media production, and local government to help clients achieve best outcomes.  

Brian has received specialized training from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and holds an FEMA APIO (advanced public information officer) designation.  He's worked at the scene of numerous man made and natural disasters and has experience running a JIC (Joint Information Center) connected to critical incidents.  From the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), Brian has completed training for managing communications after an aircraft accident/incident and family assistance center operations. He has also completed training in responding to mass violence and terrorism with the Florida Crime Prevention Training Institute of the Florida Attorney General's Office.  

Prior to his work in communications, Brian spent 25 years in international journalism both in front of and behind the camera.  He worked at major TV news operations in Miami, New York and Bogota, Colombia. 

Brian also holds an Executive Certificate in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education program.
